Abstract

Manufacturing Science and Technology (MS&T) is a critical role within the biotechnology industry, serving as the link between process development and commercial manufacturing. This presentation will explore the full lifecycle of a drug within the biotechnology industry, highlighting the scientific, technical, and regulatory milestones that turn a discovery into a commercial product. We will explore the multifaceted responsibilities of MS&T professionals—including technology transfer, process validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement—while highlighting how data-driven problem solving and cross-functional collaboration sustain product quality and supply.
